The camera and lens are fully assembled before use, and the gimbal is balanced on all three axes. Control functions are tested with the actual camera cable being used; the camera and lens are not included in this hire item.

Compatibility

The manufacturer's list includes the Sony α7S III; the α7 IV must be confirmed in the current official compatibility list or through a practical test with the cable and firmware. A listed camera does not mean every control function works with every lens. Suitability and stabilisation depend on total weight, dimensions, centre of gravity, cables and balance; the Tamron 35-150 mm A058 in particular is only recommended after a full practical test.
