Collection / handover
The camera body and 64-GB SD card are checked together at handover. The lens, desired recording format, required card speed and other accessories will be agreed to suit the production. All recordings must be fully backed up before return.
Compatibility
Sony E-mount; full-frame and APS-C E lenses can be mounted, with a crop when using APS-C lenses or APS-C recording mode. Slot 1 accepts CFexpress Type A or SD/SDHC/SDXC; slot 2 accepts SD/SDHC/SDXC only. Both SD slots support UHS-I/UHS-II. According to Sony, XAVC S-I 4K requires a CFexpress Type A card with VPG200 or an SDXC card with V90. Actual operation with the WEEBILL 2 depends on the lens, connection cable, firmware and correct balancing.

Detailed description

The Sony α7 IV combines a back-illuminated 33-megapixel full-frame sensor with fast hybrid autofocus, in-body 5-axis image stabilisation and professional video formats. It records 4K internally at up to 50/60p in 10-bit 4:2:2; 4K 50/60p uses Super 35 mode. This makes it a balanced hybrid camera for photo and video work, while the α7S III remains the specialist option for low-light and high-frame-rate video.
