Collection / handover
The controller, power supply, fixture profiles and DMX patch will be prepared to match the hired lighting equipment or configured together at handover. Paid extra features are only available if they have been activated for the device.
Compatibility
Compatible with DMX devices provided the correct fixture profile, channel mode and 3-/5-pin cabling are used. The W1 MK2 does not transmit CRMX itself; Astera lights require an ART7-WIFI or another CRMX transmitter link. The KLS 51741090, both LED PAR variants and AF-150 can be connected by cable. USB-B requires 5 V/900 mA; Wolfmix recommends a higher power reserve for MIDI/WLINK. Do not confuse the MK2 with the USB-C specifications of newer W1 generations.

Detailed description

The Wolfmix W1 MK2 enables dynamic light shows without a running computer. Eight fixture groups, Color, Move and Beam FX, palettes, presets, Fixture Builder and six direct functions for Special FX, Strobe, Blinder, Speed, Blackout and Smoke support fast live control. Music signals enter the controller through the built-in microphone or 3.5-mm line input; tap, MIDI Clock and features provided through WTOOLS, such as Ableton Link and OS2L, add synchronisation options. Two DMX universes are available as standard; universes 3 and 4, WLINK, DMX-IN mapping and 3D visualisation each require the appropriate paid add-ons.
