Right of withdrawal
Here you will find the instructions, model form and a direct way to give notice of withdrawal.
Which contracts does this apply to?
These instructions are for consumers who book services or equipment hire through distance contracts, for example online or by email, or away from business premises.
The statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded for certain leisure services provided on a fixed date. Any applicable exception is stated in the relevant contract. Business customers do not have a statutory consumer right of withdrawal. Orders for goods from the shop are subject to the information provided there.
Instructions on withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the date the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Kern Medien, proprietor Dennis-Michael Kern, Tschaikowskistraße 6, 18069 Rostock, email: info@kern-medien.de, telephone: +49 1573 7529299) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.
You may also give notice of withdrawal electronically using the “Withdraw from a contract” function at https://kern-medien.de/vertrag-widerrufen/ in the contract portal, without logging in. After entering your details and selecting “Confirm withdrawal”, you will promptly receive an acknowledgement by email containing the content, date and time. Other permitted methods of withdrawal remain available.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice that you are exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. This excludes additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us. We will use the same means of payment as for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; you will not incur any fees for this reimbursement.
If you requested that services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us an appropriate amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the time you inform us of your exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared with the full scope of services under the contract. This applies only where the statutory conditions for such compensation are met.
